I love when the V&A museum puts their talks online! I was able to join yet another fantastic conversation last night from over 100 miles away with Paul Smith discussing his creative work which begins with storytelling , the collection of bicycles in his office (I had the privilege of visiting it as a postgrad student, his office is amazing!), why he would have liked to have invented the paperclip, his love of Japan, the Paul Smith Foundation and parting thoughts such as ‘if you only had clothes that were commercial, you’d go bankrupt’ - brilliant! . A thoroughly engaging and enjoyable evening . I wonder who will be next? 🤔
