I have been working as a freelance fashion designer for a number of years. Prior to this, I gained a lot of experience within the industry as a design and production assistant, working for a variety of high end designers and high street fashion brands such as Amanda Wakeley, Bruce Oldfield, Betty Jackson, Designers at Debenhams (J by Jasper Conran, John Rocha and Red Herring), Jenny Packham, Dorothy Perkins, PAPER London and Be Here & Love. 

I have a very wide skills set and can provide freelance assistance in a number of areas;

· Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office

· Pattern Cutting (2D and 3D)

· Specification drawings and technical packs for factory production

· All aspects of the research stage (mood, trend, market, consumer, colour, fabric, visuals, component, trimmings, finishes, sourcing, collection)

· Collection creation: womenswear (casual, evening, formal, ready to wear), swimwear, activewear (yoga), knitwear, couture, bridal

· Design and product development

· Manufacturing and production assistance

· Branding research, development and designs

· Range developments and plans

· Print designs (repeats and placement)

· Basic image retouching

· Media assistance; blog entries, newsletters, social media

· Lookbook, photoshoot and fashion show experience

· Toile assembly and alteration
