I found these iridescent butterflies adorning the windows of Hedonism Wines in London. 

I love how the light creates different colours on each one. 

BCU L4 Lookbook - 'The Denim Shirt'

Alongside my community teaching, I teach first year students fashion design during the week. 

Earlier this year, they created a Denim Shirt project that focused on research elements of their choice from the 1970s, 1980s or 1990s. Additionally, a number of students focused on sustainability and repurposed old fabric remnants, charity shop-sourced jeans and decorative elements to bring their ideas to life. 

A selection of final makes were featured in a recent photoshoot and can be seen in the lookbook below:

Happy to be returning to my MAC Birmingham family tomorrow for another 'Sew a...' workshop.
