Customisation: My finished piece

After a great first customisation class (thank you to everyone who attended), I decided to create a customised piece as part of #miymarch16, showcasing all of the great techniques that can be used to enhance a simple top.

Starting with this...


And developing it into this...


...by applying different decorative techniques from fabric paint, applique, decorative embroidery stitches, fabric pens and hand stitching.

Coming Soon: Customisation Workshop (Saturday 19th March)

The next workshop in the series is coming soon!

Customisation looks at creative ways to update old and tired clothes with decorative stitching, motifs, applique, fabric paint, patches and lot of other fabulous things.
