H is for hemlines and holidays in The Little Dictionary of Fashion by Christian Dior.
It is apparently important to find ones own skirt length where the only rule is good taste; and when holidaying, wear simple and casual clothes (not much different from our current day to day is it?!), which British women know how to do best 😆 who knew! Not sure what that says about us, but anyway, if Dior said it, it must be true.
