Jenny Packham: In Conversation with Louise Roe . Hosted by the Victoria and Albert Museum

 About last night...

I attended a wonderful in conversation with Jenny Packham online talk with the Victoria and Albert Museum and fashion journalist, Louise Roe.

As someone who interned for her brand as a fashion student all those years ago, it was lovely to hear about her design process and inspiration. It was particularly nice to hear about the collection she created during lockdown using fabrics and trims she found whilst clearing out her studio. I'm a big believer in re-purposing and reusing things and its nice to see so many designers doing this at the moment.

Louise Roe also made a lovely point about about Jenny Packham being nice to everyone; something i heartily agree with! She was one of the rare group of designers who i interned with as a student who took the time to speak to her interns and she was always so polite and easy to talk to. At the time, this was pretty much unheard of! :)

I really enjoyed this event; i look forward to the next one!
