Maker Monday: Positive Vibes Jar

Its a cold Monday in January...how are you doing?

For Maker Monday this week, I wanted to share something i made for a friend recently.

I put together my version of a mindfulness jar aka 'The Positive Vibes Jar' filled with uplifting quotes, sayings and snippets from songs that mean something to her.

It can be difficult in the winter months and particularly during the difficult situations we have been living through in recent months/ year to remain positive, so a little 'pick me up' from the jar can help to bring a smile to anyone :)

Do you need a little lift? Don't worry, you can access the digital Pinterest version of my Positive Vibes Jar at the link below if you want to grab a piece of sunshine for yourself.

Here are a couple of photos of what the finished product looked like :)

If you would like to make one, it can be created quite cheaply with a jar (either recycled or bought), some coloured paper squares or rectangles, and inspirational quotes to write on them.

If you do feel that you need more help than what the positive vibes jar can offer, please don't hesitate to get in contact with Mind - the Mental Health Charity, or take some time out with the Headspace or Calm apps

*This is not a sponsored post from any of the above charities/ companies, but as an educator who recommends these resources to students, I am very aware of the great services that these can provide :)
