Florence Highlight: Ponte Vecchio

Another wonderful highlight of Florence is the Ponte Vecchio. 

Roughly translated as 'Old Bridge', it is a medieval stone arch bridge over the Arno River. It has a large number of shops along it, which it seems was once common practice. At the moment, most of the shops are for jewellery and are extremely expensive!

However, it completely changes at night with musicians busking at the central point of the bridge (which also happens to be the best photography point! 😆) and on a couple of occasions, we joined in and listened to the impromptu performances. Check out the videos below and feel free to sign along!
