The Little Dictionary of Fashion: P is for....

Dior has a lot of say about the letter P in his Little Dictionary of Fashion....

Perfume should be applied more liberally it seems;

Persian Lamb (is this still a thing?) can look nice and young;

Petticoats are vital if you don't want your dress to look dull;

Pockets (and we all love a good pocket!) have useful yet ornamental purposes;

A Princess Line can be slimming if you 'plump' (charming!);

...and finally, Purple is the king of all colours.

Some fashion advice from 1954.
