Maker Monday: Mending

I do love a good mending moment to make clothes last just that little bit longer.

A couple of hidden patches behind the frayed sections should make them last for a while.

Its a good idea when patching to try and do the patches on a sewing machine as they will be more secure. However, as these were children's jeans, its impossible to get inside the trouser legs, therefore, I stitched them with a secure backstitch and thicker thread instead.

An alternative is to stick them in place with Bondaweb if you need additional strength.
