This morning its been all about the fabric!
A few adjustments but the garments are progressing well. Very excited for the finished pieces!

...and we're back for Day 2 of my Make a Vintage Style Dress workshop at MAC Birmingham.
Thankfully all the prep was completed last week so now on to the sewing!

Maker Monday - The 1960s Dress
Whilst the 1950s dress (and all its intricacies) has been serialised here and on social media, quietly in the background, i've also been making another vintage dress from the 1960s.
This one was nowhere near the same amount of trouble, and was a dream to put together.
Made from a navy stripe stretch crepe from Josiah Amari in Camden, and navy fabric remnant binding from the leftover fabric from another top.
