Me Made May: Day 13 - Me Made Scarf

Its been a bit cold today so threw on an embroidered scarf to keep warm. 

I made this for a photoshoot years ago. Its nice that i can still use it day to day. 

Me Made May: Day 12 - Refashion Project 1.0

A shirt to a top. 

I've always loved the print fabric but didn't like the shape of the shirt, so i flipped it round so the buttons were down the back, and cut the rest away. 

Nothing was wasted i promise; the remnants were turned into bias binding instead.

Being back at work and chatting to students means this is on all day. 

Not a clothing make today but an essential make-it-yourself accessory nevertheless. 

Me Made May: Day 10 - Self-Drafted Vest Top 2.0

Trying to channel spring vibes to ward off the rain with this fabric from Un Peu de Ci, Un Peu de Ca in France...but i don't think it worked that well. 

Never mind, at least the print is cheery. 

Me Made May: Day 9 - Casual Coat

My version of Burda Style 6727 coat with contrast fabric panels. 

The weather didn't know whether to be warm or windy today, so this was the perfect piece of outerwear for a walk around the meadows. 

Me Made May: Day 8 - Pattern Cloned Double Layer Jersey Vest

I've had this blue marl jersey fabric remnant for ages so decided to copy on of my wardrobe favourites from Mango. 

Wonderfully comfortable and soft. 

Me Made May: Day 7 - Repurposed Clutch Bag

A repurposed clutch bag that was once a coat. 

Something slightly different for today's me made but i suppose it used to be an item of clothing ;)

Even the strap was recycled from an old day bag. All very eco.
