Visit to Baddesley Clinton

I do love visiting National Trust properties. They always have wonderful things to see and I feel its important to learn about and cherish old homes and belongings before they're lost to history. A visit to Baddesley Clinton for my birthday made for a great day out; and the weather stayed on side too!
You can find your nearest NT property on their website
Happy travels!

The MA Fashion Show 2019 - The Pictures

It was a great night on Thursday at the annual MA Fashion Show at Birmingham City University. Students from the Fashion Design, Surface and Textiles Design all presented their work either on the catwalk or in a static exhibition.

The little details of the collections were lovely to look at; particularly loved the needle-felting, creative cut and sculptured elements that appeared in a few pieces.

Take a look at the images below of collections created:

There was also work in the atrium for the static exhibition which has some lovely pieces by the MA Textiles and Surface Design students:

Emma Anderson
Lingling Wei
Elizabeth Jarvis
Pauline Dalle
