I've been working on a number of projects recently and I'm delighted to be able to share one of them with you!
Denim Collection: Breakground
Looking to the inspirational architectural structures of Zaha Hadid, I wanted to experiment with these avant-garde buildings by representing them in contrasting panels, abstract prints and laser cut textures. The result is a comprehensive collection of pieces that are simple and functional to wear but still maintain a unique sense of style.
You can see all of the new project work on my online portfolio at the following website:

Rewind: Ecological Design Work
I've always been interested in ecological ideas and have created a few projects over the years exploring different 'eco' options.
Take a look at my eco design portfolio on Issuu.com to see some of the creative outcomes!
In addition, a couple of years ago I had a large amount of used pattern paper that I wanted to generate into something new. I didn't like the idea that the paper was being wasted so I chose to create origami forms of insects and shapes from the natural world to 'return' the paper to its origins (albeit metaphorically).
You can see the rest of my 'Return to Form' project at:

Other ecological projects and more can be found on my online portfolio;

(Find ecological work in the 'Creative' and 'Reshirt; Exploring Eco and Sustainability' project folders)
Enjoy!

Interiors Project: 'Sketch' Collection
Its been a while since I posted as I've been working on a number of different projects, including teaching fashion at a local college.
However, its now time to showcase some of the new work thats been in production...so expect some more new work soon!
I've become more interested in prints recently and for this project I decided to experiment with soft furnishings. The idea came from a series of sketches based on shattered glass and ice; I really like how spontaneous they look when they shatter.

A Gift for a Friend...The reaction!
I gave a work colleague a personalised baby blanket for her maternity leave present, and as I teach on a fashion course, what better gift to give than a one of a kind textile piece.
She was thrilled with the gift and I hope that she and her baby will enjoy it.
